Sahana Rudra
Sahana Rudra is a fourteen year old. She currently attends Sanskriti school in New Delhi, having earlier been to Bradley Hills Elementary School in Maryland, USA and Auckland High School, Shimla. She has written analytical pieces on the prejudices we face in the real world and how books can help deal with them. She has also reported on the Himachal Art Festival in The Asian Age.
This book was written when she was twelve years old, soon after a move back from the US after living there for 4 years. The fascination for writing and storytelling came from a young age, when she would sit wide-eyed, and completely still-an unusual feat for the extraordinarily energetic toddler- as her mother read stories out to her. Ever since she was young, Sahana has wanted to help change the world for the better. And in doing so, she believes changing minds comes first. She lives with her dog, her sister and her parents in New Delhi.
