Tehseen Poonawalla, is an entrepreneur, activist and a columnist his articles have been published in several leading newspapers and magazines. Tehseen is a keen observer of emerging socio-political trends. He is a regular guest on prominent television news channels articulating his view points on matters of national importance.Tehseen, headed the membership vertical for Young Indians (Yi), the Youth Wing of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and he firmly believes that the only way India can truly be a sustainable superpower is by ensuring that high growth is partnered with social equity. Currently Tehseen shuttles between Delhi, Pune and Mumbai. His desire is to see the youth of India play a constructive role in the task of nation building and is currently one the founding members of the National Campaign Against Mob Lynching where they got a law drafted called MaSuKa or Manav Suraksha Kanoon that deals with mob violence and lynchings and are hoping that the said law is passed by Parliament. Tehseen is also in the process of writing his first book and hopes to release it way next year.
