Minakshi Chaudhry Kanwar is a writer, socially active citizen and a motivational speaker. Karuna Singh opened the Earth Day Network office in India in 2010. This is now expanded to cover other countries in Asia as well. This is the only international office Earth Day Network has outside of the United States. Under her leadership, the number of programs held in India alone has grown exponentially and today touch close to 35 million lives annually.

Her ongoing commitments include board membership of the Global Environment Facility, UNDP and the Government of India Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change’s Small Grants Program. She also chairs their Committee for the North East Region of India. Throughout his career within the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, spanning over 30 years, Sanjeeva Pandey has maintained an abiding passion for the Himalayas, especially for conservation of the Himalayan environment. He has been awarded the ‘Best Sports Anchor’ at the prestigious News Television Awards for three consecutive years. Two of his documentaries – one on the death of Formula One in India and the other on India’s failure to have never qualified for the Football World Cup – won the ‘Best Sports Feature of the Year‘, two years in a row, at the ‘NT awards’.

In 2002, Nikhil started his career in sports broadcasting with Trans World International– the television arm of the renowned American sports management firm, IMG. As a production trainee in their Delhi office, he worked on covering sports such as cricket, golf & hockey for clients such as the BBC, ESPN & Star Sports.
